MOOR Ads Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments are handled for advertising services purchased through Moor or the Moor Ads Portal.
By purchasing advertising from Digital Marine, LLC, doing business as “Moor” and “Moor Yacht Crew” (“Moor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. One-Time Advertising Purchases (Non-Subscription Ads)

One-time ad purchases are non-refundable once any of the following occur:
• The ad has been approved
• The ad has begun running
• The advertiser has submitted final creative
• Design work has begun (if concierge design was selected)

If an advertisement is rejected during Moor’s review process:
• We will offer the advertiser an opportunity to revise the ad
• If a revision is not possible, Moor may issue a credit at our discretion

Refunds are not provided for:
• Change of mind
• Unsatisfactory performance
• Low engagement
• Improper creative submissions
• Incorrect scheduling due to advertiser error

2. Subscription Advertising (Recurring Monthly Ads)

Some ad placements are offered as recurring monthly subscriptions. These subscriptions continue to renew automatically until cancelled by the advertiser.

• Advertisers may cancel at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• No partial-month or prorated refunds are provided
• Past subscription charges are non-refundable

Moor is not responsible for failed cancellation attempts due to invalid email addresses, inbox filters, or failure to access the Stripe Customer Portal.

3. Auto-Renewing Ads (Optional Toggle)

Certain ads offer an auto-renew feature at checkout.

If the advertiser enables auto-renew:

• The ad will renew automatically each cycle
• Charges are processed through Stripe
• Advertisers may disable auto-renew at any time
• The current period remains active until expiration
• Past renewals are non-refundable

Auto-renewal charges processed prior to cancellation are not refundable.

5. Taxes

Applicable taxes are calculated and charged automatically based on the advertiser’s location using Stripe Tax.

Since tax amounts are remitted to tax authorities, taxes are generally non-refundable, unless legally required.

If a refund is issued for the underlying purchase, tax refunds will follow Stripe Tax rules and may or may not be included.

6. Billing Errors or Duplicate Charges

If a billing error occurs (e.g., duplicate charge, incorrect amount):

• Contact [email protected] within 10 business days
• Moor will investigate promptly
• Confirmed errors will be fully refunded

Moor is not responsible for delays caused by banks or card issuers.

7. Denied or Removed Ads

If an ad is denied due to:

• Prohibited content
• Misleading claims
• Copyright violations
• Fraud or misrepresentation
• Unsafe or harmful content
• Attempts to circumvent platform rules

Moor may reject or remove the ad without refund.

Credits may be offered at Moor’s discretion based on severity and intent.

8. Platform Interruptions

Moor may temporarily suspend ad delivery due to:

• Maintenance
• Upgrades
• Technical issues
• Server interruptions

In such cases, Moor may extend the ad run or issue a credit.

Refunds will not be issued for temporary outages.
